Note:
Each UpGuitarHill guitar lesson should take a week to complete and requires between an hour to two and a half hours (or more) investment in your time. I.e. Only 10 minutes to 30 minutes of your time per day. But you are welcome to take it as long as you want, and walk UpGuitarHill at your own pace. This is not a race! Just learn to keep at it (like the tortoise I describe in the "Student Motivation" link on the right), moving systematically ahead and enjoying yourself and your journey.

Know that I do want to help you get UpGuitarHill. As such I believe in a holistic teaching approach. I have decided to share with you some additional information that I have found to be really useful when learning guitar. Some of these tips took years to discover and are made available to help you now if you click the "Student Motivation" link on the right. These skills will help you to focus and achieve success in your guitar endeavor, ensuring that you see the big picture and they will keep you playing; protecting you from common pitfalls which can frustrate and halt your progress. The wisdom here can also be used to promote success in other areas of your life.
The information in the Student Motivation is "KEY" to your success and should be read in conjunction with the lessons to fully understand how these are structured and what a beginner guitar student must do to ensure success! Initially you can start by just reading the first few headings, then come back later and delve into more depth, as you progress further UpGuitarHill.

Please email me for help with your free lesson, if you require it. The lessons are carefully worked out to help you with sub steps within each of the 15 lesson steps UpGuitarHill. But if you get confused or need help then shout! You are welcome to ask me anything as long as it is related to your goal to play the nylon string guitar. It is critical to take it a step at a time and slowly and systematically! Read and re-read the Student Motivation to fully grasp how important this point is! I.e. NB! It will be a challenge to learn guitar over the Internet. But if you work closely through each lesson, DO NOT go past a section you have not fully grasped and shout if you need help; I can get you moving forward and into playing this wonderful instrument! Within a few lessons you will not belive how well you are playing I promise you!

Know this truth: To be successful in your journey UpGuitarHill you must fully understand Aesop's Fable of the Tortoise and the Hare and reject the method and approach of the hare and incorporate the attitude, mindset and way of the tortoise! Know also that learning the nylon string guitar is not a mad race that quickly peters out through a lack of conviction or is sidetracked by distraction. Rather it must be a wonderful systematic journey of steady progress, for life!
